The client's brief was for a simple yet potent design for a new 2100sq ft private home. The site had no obvious view to exploit and therefore the accommodation was designed around a pool courtyard facing south west to enjoy the afternoon and evening sunlight. Large screen walls and planters to either side protect the house from the neighbouring properties.
